Setup

1

Login to your Journeybee account and go to settings then integrations
2

Select Slack and click “Connect”. This will take you to a new window where you will be asked to login to your Slack workspace and enable the Journeybee integration.

Create Partner Leads From Slack

Use the /journeybee slash command to quickly create new partner leads directly from any Slack channel or direct message.

How it works

  • In Slack, type /journeybee in any channel or direct message to create a new partner lead
  • You will be prompted to enter the lead’s details and select a partner to either send the lead to or assign the lead from
  • Select the channel you would like the created lead to be posted in
  • After submitting the lead, it will be created in Journeybee and you will receive a confirmation message in Slack linking directly to the lead

Two Way Message Sync

Connect your Journeybee partnership message rooms to Slack channels for real-time bi-directional synchronization.

How it works

  • Select a partnership message room in Journeybee and connect it to a specific Slack channel
  • Messages typed in the connected partnership message room in Journeybee will automatically appear in the linked Slack channel
  • Messages sent in the connected Slack channel will appear in the partnership message room in Journeybee
  • Updates and deletions are synced in real-time between both platforms
  • Attachments can be sent from Slack to Journeybee, but not from Journeybee to Slack

Notes

  • You must be a member of the Slack workspace to create leads or participate in message sync
  • If a Slack user does not have a Journeybee account, they will automatically be created as an indirect user. Indirect users cannot log in or access Journeybee but can access your Partner Portals and can still create leads and participate in message sync through Slack
  • The integration cannot update you on leads sent in private channels or direct messages
  • For the message sync, attachments added to messages In Slack are not currently supported.
